Ways to Encourage Healthier Eating to Kids.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics recommends the following to help teach your children the importance of eating a healthy diet: offer children meals and snacks on a consistent schedule, provide foods that are nutrient-rich and balanced, serve a variety of cultural cuisines and flavors, encourage your child to learn and listen to internal cues on what to eat and how much, teach food safety practices, and talk about making healthy food choices when not at home.
